The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus have been hyped for a while as the best Samsung earbuds mainly because their measurements align with the Harman Target. This is bad for a number of reasons. Namely, the Harman Target is shouty at 5kHz and rolls off the treble making it sound dark and veiled. I owned these originally and got rid of them after 2 days because of the shouty upper mids and dark treble. Just not fun to listen to at all and desperately tried coping with their treble EQ preset before giving up.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are tuned quite differently than usual. Kinda reminds me of the Apple AirPods Max and I wouldn't be surprised if they copied them. The highs above 1kHz are recessed, dark, veiled making things sound muddled and hard to hear. Great tuning choice, Samsung...

I bought a Samsung phone and the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro as my go to wireless earbuds but I have to admit. The highs sound colored yet well extended. Depending on the measurements these things may look better than they are. They have some 5kHz peak fatigue as well as some coloration problems in the treble. They are enjoyable enough for on the go but not the best most transparent sounding thing out there. I still use them because I couldn't find a true wireless IEM better than it.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro screwed up the treble. They have a huge hole in the treble and thin Harman mid bass. Seems like they just copied their Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus design TBH but with more sparkly air shimmer.

--- OUTDATED REVIEWS BELOW ---

When I got the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro originally I was impressed compared to the offerings that other companies had like Sennheiser and Apple because they had a cleaner more extended brighter treble. The Buds Pro are very good. Some measurements make them look near flawless in the upper mids and treble but they clearly aren't. There is some lumpiness. Here is a strange measurement that makes them look basically perfect:

RTINGS also has some misleading measurements making the upper mids and treble look amazing besides an 8kHz peak. Their target has Harman mid bass at 200Hz so it looks muddy when it's not. Some people like warm mid bass. Deal with it.

cammyfi looks similar to RTINGS

This is supposedly the RTINGS measurements of the Buds Pro which does not correlate with the published RTINGS review:

This correlates with other measurements from Oratory1990:

Regardless of which measurements are right, I think they sound good. Comparable to Simgot EM6L and Beyerdynamic DT990 (With Worn Earpads) which I think is the best two options for audio quality. However, I do think the upper mids and treble are not as smooth and clean. Since the Buds Pro are best suited away from home when you are out doing things thus critical listening is not of utmost importance then they get the job done. They have great treble extension. A good V-Shaped fun tuning. Not flawless but good enough to be enjoyable. Although the measurements below make them look much warmer and bassier, I think they sound about the same bass wise.

Time to mention the shitty Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. They scoop out the mid bass at 200Hz like Harman Target. However, they also have less treble and even a cut in the treble. It finally went down in value to a reasonable price of $100 bucks. I remember being baffled by its original selling price. If they want that kind of money, they need to do better than just being the latest version for retards to buy at full price.:

I think the original Buds Pro are the better option with a brighter warmer sound IMO. The treble hole and thinner mid bass on the Buds2 Pro makes it a waste of time to "upgrade" to.
