I grabbed the ath-r50x and find them absolutely wonderful headphones, would like to know your take/review

They sound pretty decent, kind of like the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro. I would just apply a 5 dB cut at 1.7 kHz with a Q of 1.3.
