The Harman Target is the result of one of many studies by Sean Olive when he's not on Twitter / X bitching about Donald Trump.

Although I'm aware of a lot of his studies like bass boosting correlating with aggression, etc. None of that really matters. I created my target before even knowing about the Harman Target. Here are the differences between my target and the Harman Target. Basically better treble extension and more 200Hz mid bass body / warmth on my target:

Keep in mind the Harman Target has a failing rate of around 60% and bass and treble is supposed to be adjusted to taste like my target is:

There's lots of memes around the Harman Target and just about everyone hates it but uses it because no one else has the balls to make their own target and then obnoxiously claim it to be the best based on pseudo science studies. The fact I came up with a perfected target in three months while Harman has a new one every year so Sean Olive can keep his job is concerning.

My target has more mid bass at 200Hz and others agree. Harman trained means brainwashed anemic mid bass enjoyers.

Mid bass levels at 200Hz change depending on the volume levels of the audio that you're listening to. We can see this on the ear sensitivity chart of equal loudness. Harman bass is at 80dBa listening level which is bordering on hearing damage levels.

I'm pretty sure he will get fired if he doesn't pull enough papers out of his ass every year.

After you get good at audio all of this is quite hilarious.
Funny moment of ****** converting Harman Target and it looking hilariously close to my target, lol.

Sean Olive having a conflict. He loves his Tesla but hates Trump. XD
Sean Olive essentially admitting Sonarworks and Harman Target is training wheels for people who don't know what tuning they want and only about 60% like their target:

Lol Sean Olive correcting headphone show asking if people really know what they want tuning wise.

Just how bad are most headphones?

No correlation between price and sound quality past $250
