Dracomies has joined the anti P40 conspiracy, commenting on every P40 reddit post on the iems subreddit hating on them:

Dracomies says he likes the Tanchjim Orgin and recommends them, but thinks the EPZ P40 has too little bass?

I returned my pair since its too big, I cant wear it for long hours.

I just stopped pushing them in. Slight seal. em6l best. I got trolled by people saying em6l too small.

yes that's what I get. i dont eq it really. i usually talk about eq for the people who like using eq and to have an excuse to talk about flaws in the response. But yes I just used the autoeq in the grapher to get the numbers.

My EPZ P40s arrived yesterday and they've been amazing. I've mainly been using my Tea Pro's, which I've had for about a year and EQ'd to the Endgame Mk1 target, but the treble never sounded quite right. The EQ'd P40s sound better in almost every way except for bass response. The bass is not as controlled as the tea pros but everything else is better. Sounds more natural idk how to explain it.
 
@darf Excellent, thanks for the feedback. Do you feel like it needs 4 db more between 2 kHz and 20 kHz?

The EQ sounds really good. I should keep it on the EPZ TP35 Pro.

Fresh pads DT990 measure just like stock EPZ P40. Can make EPZ P40 sound like DT990 worn pads with EQ by reducing upper mids and warming up low mids for a wider warmer sound.
